Getting The Most Out Of Your Practice Time

I came across a great site and a good article on practicing efficiently. It may help some guitarist get out of their rut and begin to see some progress in their practice efforts. It can become discouraging if you are not seeming to make any progress in your guitar journey's!
iBreatheMusic.com - How To Practice Guitar With A Limited Amount Of Time by Tom Hes
...The Essentials

Dy-sphoric...I ran across your post somewhere, maybe Amplifi3r,where you were talking about practicing once off work, and no motivation. So maybe this will at least give you a more focused and efficient practice regime, along with inspiring you to "pick it up and practice"... :-)....

Dy-sphoric (or Mike) - I have practiced two days in a row. For about 15 minutes in the morning and about 30 at night. Having a 3 year old, wife and chores, it is hard to find time for me. BUT I am working on it. Thanks for the motivation again...

Hello again Mike...you know, the bottom line is...just have fun with your music journey's,period. When i teach,i teach theory mixed with song learning, this keeps it fun.So pick a "simple" song you like and work on it.Get the audio track, the tab and get started!Just listening is CRITICAL.Just listen carefully before even working on the song. Then work on one section at a time(intro, verse, chorus, bridge)Learn the chords first(section by section),then start on solo. But,just listen first and HAVE FUN....Greg
